Frank--
You keep on "writing" == typos matter NOT! Glad to hear you have a first class team working for you. I, too, look forward to many more chapters of your book and I hope Bud Lites figure in them also.
Thinking of you and Connie!

Haven't even a clue as to how to play football. Don't know tons about hockey (I live in Canada) either but I sorta know what's going on when I watch.

Oh, I like this thread. Some really good "stuff" written ---
You do your best and sometimes it's not perfect.
Guilt really sucks big-time and won't get you anywhere.
You need to forgive because sometimes "it is what it is" as someone said.
You sometimes have to move on, hard as it is.

Frank,
I too have followed your journey since you first came to the boards and have never missed one of your posts. I so admire your determination to fight the d*** disease and to live each day to the fullest. And you've never forgotten your compassion for others during your own "ordeal."
You and your family remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Love being at home especially on snowy or rainy days. Always have lots to do and if I ran out of things to do, I'd read the books and magazines that are waiting for me. Always have my dog too so I'm never really alone.

I'm with Rich. I usually get up by 4, often earlier. Read the paper, check email, walk the dog, get ready for work.... By 3:00, the energy is waning. I hate New Year's Eve when I feel I have to stay up till midnight!

Apple Fritter -- I like a "no thought" question -- they have these at Tim Hortons === no Dunkin Donuts in Canada and the only Krispy Kreme I know of is quite a distance away.

Denise,
I join you in saying Goodbye to 2006. It was not a good year for me and I need to learn too deal with some "family issues" which really surfaced surrounding my father's passing. (Oh, how I miss my Dad!). I've tried to deal with them with counselling and so far, not successsfully. But I will deal with them or at least reach acceptance and move on. Life is just too short! I have been looking forward to 2007 as a new beginning.
I'm so sorry that on top of everything else that you have to deal with marital issues. Don't give up on the counselling though. If you are unhappy with your counsellor, try a new one. They do have very different approaches. I hope your husband wants to work on the relationship too.
Wishing you only the very best for 2007 -
