Hi Joy. I was Stage 3b at diagnosis as well. And although it has been far from an easy ride there is life and hope after diagnosis. Get a better doc and keep us posted on how you are doing. This site is full of good people, support and information. Take care

I agree with others that you should at least wait until you have the results of the scan. And even then, a second opinion would be in order. And I agree that your dear hubby should hear it directly from the doc. It is his choice to make and in his heart, he knows what those choices are. It just takes a long time to be able to digest them and longer yet to be able to discuss them. My heart is with you

Hi there. I am glad to hear that your mom's first treatment went well. I don't have any experience with that chemo mix but do know that everyone reacts differently. My words of advice are make sure she drinks lots even if she doesn't feel like eating. It helps get through it quicker. Take care

I had a tough go of it as well Susan. It doesn't mean it is not working though. I hope mom starts to feel better soon. I rebounded somewhat between treatments.
