I also agree with everyone. You are an incredible warm and caring person. I am so pleased that I found this message board and the wonderful people on it. You have all helped me through alot. I wish I was closer to be of help to you. I will continue to pray for your comfort.

I received my bands and passed them out to friensd & mailes to family. I have received many questions about what the white band was for. That gets the word out. Hope everyone is doing well. Best wishes and prayers to all.

I have learned so much here.
We leave in the morning on our boat until Sunday to raft up and visit with some of our boating friends. Supposed to be fairly nice this weekend. Gingers crossed! Best wishes to all of you. Prayers being said for 1 & all.

Wow, now that I get thinking about it I haven't had my boobs in a vise since I was dx. So I best make an appointment. Thanks, your thread reminded me. Good luck to all of you.

Karen, It seems crazy the there isn't anything except marrow transplant for the platlet counts to come up. What about just blood transfusion? I'm sure your Doc has thought of that but I thought I'd give it a try.
I'm sorry to hear David is having this bloody problem. I am praying for him and your family. Good luck.

Hey Jen,
Haven't been in touch in a while. I am still doing pill form chemo, Temedor, Doesn't leave me feeling to bad but there is still some nausea & fatigue. I need to stop being so lazy and get my butt walking again. The weather we have been having here makes it tough to want to be outside. It has been pouring and chilly. I know,...that's a lousy excuse!
Just wanted to touch base girlfriend. You take care & keep me posted.

Hang in there. You have proven yourself in the strength dept so keep it up. I hope my thoughts & prayers help to keep you going. I have a dear friend,Sr Betty Kane, the pastoral nun at our hospital. She always asks if there is someone to add to her prayer list. I have her adding you along with other message board friends I've met. I hope you feel it. All my best to you & your family.

Hi Beth
Have you spoken to your Doc about a sleep aid? Ambien has worked well for me & I feel great in the morning. I don't use Ambien anymore as I'm sleeping quite well but, occaisionally I have a difficult time to sleep & I put 2 Melatonin tabs under my tongue to dissolve and next thing I know it's morning & I feel refreshed. You may want to try 1 to start with & also ask your Doc or nurse. My Doc told me about theses and they are natural.
I hope they work for you. There is nothing like a good nights sleep.
Don't forget, check with your medical people.

Karen that PA should be reported. That was a horrible way to treat the 2 of you. I hope Dave is feeling better. More prayers for you coming your way. I must go & shower. I will see my PCP this morning. Soreness in back and shoulders. I must get this checked out before we take our big boat trip. Probably leave on our boat for a week or 2. We will cruise up to Petersburg with stops along the way to visit friends. Of course this all depends on the weather.
Now for all of you who would like to see a part of Alaska come on up. We have 2 extra rooms. This is a sincere offer.
