Kasey,
Glad you are a bit better. Just try to rest this weekend so that you will heal and be ok for your scans. Praying that scans go as scheduled and that results are nothing but good all the way around.

I know you must feel horrible or we would be seeing your bright smile with your posts here. I will be praying for you and that you are able to get well soon and that your scans go on as scheduled. Of course after that I want your smiling face in a post saying NED again. Love you Kasey..take care of yourself girl.

I hate any word that describes anything coming or running out of one's nose. I also hate most words that the lower parts of a woman's anatomy but will use the proper ones when needed. I don't like potty humor much either. There are probably more but that's all I can think of right now.

I am sorry Sarah. I know this is hard on you, your mom and your family.

I know it wasn't pleasant to have to go to the ER, but Joel being out of pain is a wonderful way to start a new year. I hope the antibiotics work quickly and that he is ready to come home soon. Give Joel a hug from all of us.

Good to hear from you, its been a while but I am sorry to hear about your friend. You might want to tell him about the post a few weeks ago about diaphram breathing. Keeps the chest more still during the radiation. I wish I had known about it when I had mine. Instead of raising the chest pull the diaphram down. What stage was your friend at dx? I am surprised that they didn't offer him chemo and/or radiation at the time.
Let us know what they decide.

Aaron,
I hope this starts the new year off great for you and that your scan shows NED. I hate the waiting and I am sure you do as well. When do you get the results?

Happy Birthday Lilly. Here's hoping that the chemo you are having to go through now will give you many, many more birthdays.

Great news. I love to see your profile each time you post. Hope you had a very Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New year.

Glad to hear it Bill. How are you holding up to the chemo? I took the same treatment but only had three cycles. I had NSCLC so not quite the same I guess. I was tired and a little nauseated but otherwise did fine. My favorite thing to eat was chocolate milk shakes so each anything that will keep your weight up.

It sounds like my first advice would be to find another doctor. Make sure you get copies of all of his scans (the scan itself, not just the interpretation), xrays, blood tests etc. Just get a second opinion to be sure. There doesn't seem to be much communication for you where you are now.

Happy New Year Rich. Glad you checked in so that we know you are at least almost ok. Your attitude is wonderful and I hope after your "chemo rest" you will feel much stronger. We love ya...don't stay gone so long next time ok?

Welcome Heather. I am sorry you found the need to look for this site but so glad that you found us. We are here to help each other and listen to each other. When you have questions there is at least one person here who has been through the same or almost the same thing and can answer you.
It sounds like you held up really well to chemo so that shows you are strong and otherwise healthy. I wish you the best.
