Don Wood
I just bought Lance Armstrong's book, "It's Not About the Bike", on his fight with testicular cancer. She read it and found it very helpful and inspirational. The one thing that stuck out the most for her was his statement that the body may recover from cancer, but it takes the mind and soul longer to heal. I am going to read it next, and then pass it on to my daughter, who is into biking right now. Don
kimblanchard
I liked the book. One part I liked was how the odds stacked up against him - I won't ruin it for you but things got worse even after he learned about the cancer - but he just kept going and he overcame the problems. SandyS
Awesome book! Now go get her his new one, Every Second Counts. The man has a very good way with words! I read the first 5 pages and said there were at least 4 comments of his that made you stop and re-assess your life! Like "you can either get busy living or get busy dying"! Donna G
Thanks Don, he is so right, the mind and the soul need healing also. Donna G
