This walk attracts many, many people and raises much money for breast cancer, which affects 1 in 9 women where I live. There are literally hundreds of signs advertizing the event. Interestingly, this year someone went around to each and every breast cancer sign and placed a second sign which reads..." Why not walk for ALL cancers...Every year LUNG cancer kills more women than breast and ovarian cancer combined". Wish I had thought of that!
