Donna
Mark now has bright yellow/orange diarrhea..Is this from the infection in his abdomen? The Onc said the bloating and infection is from the chemo. What can cause this color diarrhea? He had every test in creation, and all results are negative..The infection is responding and there is still some bloating, but not much..He still has no appetite.. kitkathi
Donna, I am wondering if the unusual coloring of his stools is from the medication (Flagyl)? Regardless, I hope it clears up in a hurry, we don't want him to get dehydrated! Praying for relief for him... Kathi
Nancy B
Hi Donna, I know when I had PCI I had no appetite so my poop was not a normal color, I just wasn't eating enough. I think what we eat has something do to with the color, maybe? Just know that you guys are in my prayers. Take care. Nancy B

Don
I would suggest some pedialites(sp)the baby food section. The grape is great. I have used it. Also has a nice feeling on the throat. Don
Cindy RN
The color sounds normal for someone who is not eating. He needs to be taking imodium or lomotil. Is he on any reg regimine of these two drugs? Mix up ensure or carnation instant breckfast drink with ice cream that helps sometimes. Also if he can drink things like gator aid. He needs to replenish the fluids and electrolytes he is losing. Good luck, Cindy
