Maryanne
I was hoping Don would post and he did. I also feel sooooo strong to adjuntive chemo. That is for preventive measures. If her onchologist does not want to do that, then you can search out a second opinion. Better safe than sorry. It is doable..not a bad as you may think. Take care honey, Maryanne
dihen
Thank you all again - we will certainly be pushing for some type of adjunctive chemo for mom!

enyaw061032
Welcome to this wonderful group of lung cancer support for people with lung cancer, their spouses, and family. It is so good to have someone to tell your story to who understands what you or your family are going through, and to give support where you can. Your Mom sounds like she is determined to beat this monster, and keep encouraging her to fight. The monster is savage and we must do what we can to win the battle. Most of the people who have Stage II do have some kind of chemo. People with la don't need chemo from what I have found out, but lb and up does? Maybe somebody else on this board knows more about that. Love and prayers to you and your Mom for continued improvement. Barb
