MalouDP
Hello everyone, Thomas started Taxotere yesterday, his onc advised to take Glutamine supplement 10 grms 3x/day and B-6 supplements. He also put him on 8 mg Dexamethasone 2x /day before chemo, on chemo day, and day after. Anybody had the supplements before? Does it help? Thank you all for your expertise. O by the way, we finally got to see his regular Onc, and he said that Avastin was not included in the trial of Squamous Cell, and due to the size of his tumor, the bleeding side effects is too high. I'm kind a pleased with him so we are not changing onc yet. But we emphasized that we will only see him and no one else in their office except on emergency. Thanks again everybody. I love you all Malou
eppie
(((((((((((Malou and Thomas)))))))))))))) I think it is great that this onc is open to supplements when so many are not. I will pray fierce prayers of healing for your sweet husband. Keep us posted. Much love, Eppie
