ginnyde Posted April 27, 2006 Share Posted April 27, 2006 This coming Tuesday 5/2 would have been Earl and my 25th wedding anniversary. I had always hoped we would have celebrated it together. A good friend, who never forgets, has invited me for dinner. As you know I sold the 'big' house and downsized just a year ago. A young couple (30's and I think that is young) bought the house. They had their first baby the end of this January. Sunday I realized that the baby was probably conceived there and that as one soul departed from that home, another soul took its place. That was going to be such a special day for us, as I'm sure it would have been for you and Earl. Dennis bought a very special bottle of wine for us to have on March 17th. I think buying that bottle was like a goal for him. He wanted to live to celebrate that date. I am so very glad your friend is taking you to dinner.
