Guest bellard Posted September 22, 2006 Share Posted September 22, 2006 we did decide to get a second opinion, even though we believed it to be futile based on what v. good nyc dr said. amazingly, the sloan kettering dr says there may be some treatments possible for mil - not curative, but perhaps will buy her more time. thanks for your advice. My husband was told six months to a year and we got a second opinion and now he is NED! Buying more time is important, because something better may come along during this time.
