Health insur cancelled for non-pmt 2 wks after cancer dx

We have discovered this today when going through mil's mail. OMG. Does anyone know any solution to this horrible news? She is 6 mos shy of medicare. Tia.

I don't know any specifics, but you should probably talk to your MIL social worker at the hospital where she is going and see what they can do....

last night on the news they had a legal support group for people with cancer. I was in the other room and didn't get the name. Maybe if you search through Google or something like it you find support in your area.
