Nick C Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 I have never been one for the "socially responsible" mutual fund. Because one person's idea of socially responsible is not that of another person's. However, I have decided to run through my portfolio and see which mutual funds I have that have tobacco as a portion and sell them off. I am afraid however that I am going to go through every choice in my and my wifes 401K and find every fund has some exposure. Has anyone done this? And if so, where did you shake out? Quote
blaze100 Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Hi Nick, Well Philip Morris also owns Kraft foods which include almost everything on the grocery store shelf. Here's the list. http://www.altria.com/about_altria/1_2_ ... oodsna.asp Barb Quote
Nick C Posted November 17, 2006 Author Posted November 17, 2006 They own 85% of kraft which is staged to be spun off from the company in early 07, as an FYI. Quote
