slinaresholz
Hello Jeffrey! I worked with your mother, Rose, and met her again when she was in the Nursing Home with my Aunt. I know how hard this is for you and went through the same thing. Had surgery nearly four years ago and am still feeling good. Don't give up hope as I told your mother I know of at least three people who have been living for fifteen years after lung surgery. Sending you a big hug and lots of prayers for a speedy recovery! The roughest thing I remember was trying to get up out of bed once I was home. You might want to spend some time in a reclining chair. I had to have someone stay with me about the first week after surgery. The fact that you can have the surgery is a very good thing. Wishing you a very successful surgery and hope you will be fine!
