Altho' his prognosis was bleak -so were so many others and a year later or two years later they are surviving. Hope, what I was looking for. Thanks for keeping your profiles. They are very helpful. Connie B Posted February 25, 2008 Share Posted February 25, 2008 Lung cancer is NOT the death sentence it use to be. People DO live with treatments today. I have two SCLC Survivor friends in my Lung Cancer Support Group here in Minnesota, and they are 7 and 8 year survivors. Don't ever give up HOPE!
