dragongif
Hi, I am a newly diagonised NSCLC and I am still learing my way around the forum board. But I have been reading as much as I can of everyone's messages. To find out where to go next. But I do plan on taking a trip to Aruba alot sooner than I anticipated! ******* 11-22-03 Diagnosied multiple brain metastes, primary is in right upper lobe of lung plus smaller nodules. Bone scan not done yet. Started 15 days of full head radiation and decadron. Full pathology is not back yet. The feeding frenzy steroid:)=Decadron And all I thought I had was a beastly headache! Margaret
Hi, I spent a far amount of time in Aruba in the early 80's when my ex-husband was operating the gaming at the Concorde Hotel. I hope you have a wonderful trip. I am glad you found this site and I know you will feel supported here. Blessings, Margaret
Tiny
Dragongif- Welcome aboard, albeit that this is a ship none of us ever wished to sail. Wow!!! You are really with it and your attitude is amazing. I was still in the "numbly walking around in a fog" stage when I was this many days out from original diagnosis. Aruba sounds like a wonderful idea...and not just because of the LC. Blessings.
Don Wood
Welcome to our "little" family of friends here. Much support and info. Hope you get to go to Aruba soon. Might be a good time of the year to go there --- warmer, that is. Don

MO_Sugar
Aruba is wonderful any time of the year. Be sure to rent a car and go to the Grotto, the California Point Light House and be sure to have dinner in the "Old Mill" one night. The Bushiribana ruins are worth a visit also. If you like to dive there is an old WWII wreck, the Antilla that you can dive on. I brought back lots of shells from wandering the beaches and memories that will last a life time. Did have to laugh though because we asked at our hotel where the best place to eat on the island was........ they told us Tony Romas! They also pushed KC strip steaks and since I live in MO that is NOT a high priority, lol! I can do those at home, lol. God Bless, MO
