Mom met with the surgeon today and he read her PET scan and was looking over all her reports from her pulmonologist etc. He has tentatively set a surgery date for this 1/3" nodule for Oct. 23rd. In the meantime, she will go see her pulmonologist to see if he finds she can breathe well enough to go through this. So far, her lung function tests from last month look great... Getting all the plan together now. She did promise me that she would inquire about the cyberknife , but she is so convinced that surgery is the way she wants to go. My mom has a lot of spunk.. lol. Will update as things change. I just want all of you to know that you are not taken for granted and I appreciate and feel a special bond with you all. Thank you so much for your support.
