question about trials

It depends on the trial. Some trials require radiation like my mom's. She

traveled about an hour every day for 5 weeks to get her treatment.

From then on she received a vaccine once a month.

So ... you don't have to be near the trial but it does make it easier.

And for trials that require treatment 5 days a week or more for a few weeks it may obviously make more sense to get an extended stay hotel or find a free resource.

BTW ... there are organizations that provide free transportation to clinical trials
