Sandy N
After some thought, I decided to go with my oncologist's first suggestion and take a breather from the treatment I'm on (Taxotere/Cyramza). The Tax was near-debilitating to be on and I needed a break from it. Talked to the CNP/Director at the Cancer Institute and I'm off the hook until mid-July. I'll go in for a scan on July 9th and meet with my oncologist on July 14th. I needed to recover from this and I now feel like I've got a bit of fresh air blowing my way. What a relief! LouT
Sandy, Glad to hear you can take the break. I have not had the chemo experience, but I remember seeing my mom go through chemo and radiation as well as the experiences I've read her, so I can fully understand the need for a break. Relax, enjoy and I hope that you have great scans and when you do restart you have an easier time of it. Lou Sandy N
