Steve has just finished round 4 of 6 chemos. He met with a radiologist for the first time today. So in about a month when he's finished chemo., he'll be starting 10 rounds of radiation.

To me this is great news, even though introducing another therapy is a little frightening, I just keep in mind that it's one more weapon we have to fight SCLC. :twisted:

That is good news. I know the treatments can be scary, but it's actually more scary when they are done and your not doing anything to actively fight. My husband had chemo and radiation at the same time and came through it with flying colors. Hope things go as well for you.

Thanks everyone! It is so great to be able to share the good and the bad with people who really understand. KatieB: FYI--Radiation was discussed as an option from the very first appt. with the oncol. He told us it was to be used to solidify the progress made by the chemo.

Look out LC, we are an army of fighters :!:
