You may not have any symptoms of kidney damage. mhutch1366 Posted June 16, 2004 Share Posted June 16, 2004 That was one of the things Ethyol ( amafosdine) was designed for, was to protect the kidneys from the effects of cisplatin. Turns out also helps protect the ears. Any chemo is tough on the kidneys and liver, but the platinum compounds seem to be very rough. Thank you, John.
