FDA Campaign

Just got this email with a link:

To all American Cancer Society Volunteers, Coalition Partners and Staff,

We found out this week that Congress is only a few days away from making a decision on whether or not the Food and Drug Administration should be allowed to regulate tobacco products. It is very important that as many people as possible contact their members of Congress by email, fax, or phone calls to help make sure they do the right thing.

We need the help of all to spread the message about the fact that Congress is about to make this important decision.

As part of the effort, the ACS has launched a new online campaign called

"America's Next Smokesperson." Viewers can watch a fun, educational flash video and then send a message to Congress. They can then forward the video on to others to watch and take action.

We need to get the word out about the campaign. Please forward the

following links to as many people as you can. Tobacco companies are

working extremely hard to defeat this legislation - so we need every voice

we can get in support if we're going to prevail.

Watch the video: America's Next Smokesperson at

Thank you in advance for taking action and helping to spread the word.

With your help, we will make sure that tobacco companies are held to the

same standards as everyone else.
