I'm going to see a cyberknife surgeon for a consultation this afternoon. My primary onc has said he would review and consult with him, but cautions me that this won't be a "cure". He's an excellent doctor, but maybe because I'm one of the most optomistic people in the whole world, he always tries to temper my enthusiasm slightly.
My question is this: Is there anything specific I should be asking or looking for as far as this goes. I found this doctor by going to a seminar he gave, looked him up and didn't see anything bad written about him and its an excellent hospital. I'm just a little nervous about this whole thing.
Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Happy Thomas' home and feeling better. Hopefully it was just the lack of hydration. It's so funny, I'm never thirsty and have to remember to drink. Anyway, thanks for the update and praying for continued well being.

Hi Wendo,
I don't want to scare you because you've already done the right thing by setting up doctors appointments as soon as possible, but I'm another one who had back pain. Lots of people have back pain and its nothing, but with a history of smoking, I wish my doctor had gone further than he did.
Hoping for a good report and that you just need to get a better chair at work.

My only symptom was that my back hurt. I thought I pulled something. Eventually after seeing numerous doctors, they finally did an MRI and it was found. Quite a shock.
Good luck and try to get some rest. You may have nodules without having lung cancer. Hopefully that's the case.
