I am a breast cancer survivor and have been cancer free for 12 years. In 2018 a 3mm nodule was found on one of my many routine scans. Fast forward March 2022 my nodule grown to 8mm and was concerning for new primary. I saw a pulmonologist who told me the nodule on my lung is likely a low grade adenocarcinoma. Today I get a call from the cardio thoracic surgeons office to get scheduled to have the thing removed. I am worried and have lots of questions!

Hi Chris
I'm so sorry your going through this all again I hope you can find the strength and will to get through this part of the journey you know you can as you had to before, once they remove the problem you will get back on track and living your life as you should be, I was diagnosed last August with lung cancer and had chemotherapy and radiotherapy and thought everything was going well until 4 weeks ago I had a seizure and they found 2 small brain mets which I have had gamma knife radiosurgery for last week, I was also going through a rough time and got very low and depressed but I have turned a corner of sorts because I do want to be a survivor, please try and stay strong and positive you will get through this and everyone on here will help you
Take care Justin x
