I just realized that Patti hasn't signed on for this yet. She is always fun on these trips - a little unpredictable, but fun. But, remember we musn't let her drive!
Patti, where are you? Sign up quick.

Randy, I told them the bus was yellow, but no one paid any attention to me. I think maybe they're all color blind. To me it's yellow - unless the driver has some say in its color.

Bailey (a large Golden Retriever), Beck's beer, and a good book.
Yes, Ann, I'll share Bailey with you.

Becky, have you tried the drugstores? Several of the ones here are offering flu shots - about $18. Also, the urgen care centers offer them. I hope you can find someplace.

Yes, on one of the message boards, Ned told us he had air matresses for the garage and a refrig. So, he's expecting us. I love Becky's Google route, except it doesn't account for stops for the rest of us. She'll have to detour to get all of us.
How about the Floridians meeting at Animal Kingdom at Disney World in Orlando. You all would enjoy a day of rest there before continuing the trip. I hope Lynn will be joining us, too.
Will we rent or steal kayaks at the shore?
I love planning these trips.

It was about 20 degrees in Orlando about 7 am. Very cold I think, but I didn't go outside to find out. Yes, we do need another bus trip. I'm wondering how the bus became blue. It was yellow (as I remember it) in Randy's picture. Anyway, whatever color, I'd love to go to Hawaii. I think we talked about this a year or two ago and I distinctly remember that NED did not invite us to stay at his house. I think he wanted to see us tho. We were a pretty crazy travel group then and he probably worried about having Patti and some of the others on his property. Many of us will be concerned about this trip if Patti insists on being the driver. I understand that as once she drove so fast that Denise didn't have time to get on the bus and had to cling to a window until she finally fell off. Now that I have all of the newbies totally confused, let's get on with the planning.

I'll celebrate 5 years anytime - even twice in 2 months! See ya at the Pub. I'm bringing Bailey. Hope Teddy is there.

That was great. I really enjoyed it. Kasey, you said that Teddie could ALMOST do those things. Bailey (a Golden Retriever) could probably do that and more.

Dog Socks!

Brilliant, Becky. I never thought of dog socks. Just kept towels by the door to remove the little snowballs when the dogs came in.
Congrats Kasey - it's been a long tough 5 years, but you're doing wonderfully. So glad you sought that 3rd or 4th or whatever opinion!

This sounds like really good news. I'll keep praying for the two of you.

It's good to hear from you. We were worrying. Your experience is much like mine - except I had squamous cell tumors, 18 mo. apart, and one in each upper lung. For a long time, the doctors couldn't decide if the second one was mets or a new primary. Now they're calling it a new primary. I did chemo both times, different poisons (carbo and taxol; and then cisplatin and gemzar). It's been five years since the second surgery and six since the first. Hoping you have the same luck!

Let's meet at the Animal Kingdom ticket gate before the crowds get too big. Maybe about 8:30 am? Maybe we should decide how long we'll wait for late-comers and maybe pick a time that someone will go back to the gate and look for stragglers (sp?). I'm all for the safari - altho. I've done it before. Sorta a bumpy ride, but fun.
Someone should bring a cell phone so that Becky can let us know when they arrive.
