    The days will pass and you'll get through them. Thankfully you have your G-Group. Let them be a comfort to you. Continue getting those things together for your trip.     Thanks for posting that Patti. I too keep up with the Leroy Seivers blog. Yesterday and today's blogs just broke my heart and brought back memories I'd pushed away. Reading it today allowed me to let go a little of my grief. I so get it.

    Thanks so much for sharing her story. Mom is now with so many of our loved ones and they're all finally at peace and without suffering. You'll do ok, give yourself time and be gentle on yourself. She was one beautiful woman who had a very loving and beautiful daughter.

    Thanks for sharing that wonderful time you had. I so get it. I too, have had good times and don't feel guilty about it. I know my Bill would be thrilled that I'm moving on. He knew how much I loved him and he knew I'd be sad when he left, but he also knew that I am strong in my faith and that is what is getting me through.

    You're not being negative at all. You're being real. Cancer does suck, for all of us. Those who have fought it, those who are fighting, those who have lost the battle.

    It's ok to be real. That's what life and death is, REAL.

    That is the absolute best post I've read in a long time. The Lord is the only one who got Bill and I through these last months. He always said to me, just be happy for the good times, no reason to focus on the bad. He had an opportunity to say goodbye that many don't have and he was forever grateful for that.

    Many thanks to all of you who send prayers and good wishes. Many of you know what it's like to lose a spouse. Many of you are still going through the trials of this horrible disease.

    Bill left us yesterday after a long, two year battle with SCLC. The last two days, with the help of our Hospice Angels, he was able to give in to the dreaded disease and have peace. I held him in my arms our last minutes and told him I would love him until I die.

    Bravo Bill, you did it all your way!
