That was a fabulous tribute to your Dad. I was so moved by your dad's oncologist's comment about the wonderful daughter you were. I was also so impressed by the close family you have and how they came together at this time.
Thanks for sharing.

Glad you have the plan in place to fight the beast. Sending prayers that it is the "magic bullet" and also prayers that the breast lumps are cysts. (I've had some really large cysts but yes, they are scary while you are waiting for the results)

Oh Kasey,
I was hoping so hard that things would go well for your niece. I'm so sorry. Hopefully, the surgery and chemo will do the trick for her.
Sending prayers to Tracy and her family.

Thanks for all your posts. Your teddy bear and yellow ribbon make me smile too. It is amazing how you're always there for everyone despite your own pain. I'm glad to hear that we help you too.

Amazing how long ago some of these things happen but they seem like just yesterday --- oh, oh!

That's fabulous, fantastic, super news. So glad to hear it. Now as you know, I'm a bit of a "platelet expert". Just wondering what your count is at -- at least 150, I assume and hopefully, Higher.
Enjoy, celebrate -- go out to dinner tonight -- that's always my favorite celebration.

I'm sorry to hear that the tumor has grown. But, by all means, if you're not comfortable with the oncologist, get a second opinion. None of us liked my dad's first oncologist but we figured we needed to finish the chemo rounds with him which we did. We did believe the chemo was the right protocol though. But we couldn't really talk to this oncologist -- he was disorganzed, always in a hurry, never remembered anything about my dad's situation... It's so nice to have a doctor that we're comfortable with, not just medically, but emotionally too.
Will be sending out prayers for you and your husband.
