Thanks Patti & Kasey,
I know how BLESSED I am to be NED and not have the C hanging over me as it had before. The Ambien worked last time, so I assume it will now. So it's a day at a time and hopefully any other side effects will be minimal.

Today was THE RESULTS SHOW from the PET/CT I had last week.
Thankfully I am still NED for cancer, but the inflamation that was almost completely gone in June after a 6 week round of prednisone is back and just as bad as before. SO it's back on prednisone again. This time for 3 months at a lower dose (20mg) and then another CT. If things look good then they will start a taper they said would be 6 months to 1 year.
I have a new script for Ambien as the insomnia was really bad. The last round gave me high blood pressure and other side effects. I am telling myself to just make prednisone my friend. It did help my arthritis and back pain a lot:)

Kelli,
I am glad that you finally have a diagnosis fro your Dad. That in it self can relieve some stress. Once you know that exact treatment plan that will help a well. Prayers for your Dad and all your family.

Wonderful news Sue! Still praying for Mom.

Check this out. And the American Lung Assn/LUNGeivty helped fund the study:)

Michelle,
Glad that you called the doc for xanax. You need your sleep and your husband sounds pretty anxious by requesting you watch him. I have had a anxiety disorder for years and only once kept my husband up at night. When it got that bad, I called and got meds and therapy.

Yoga Research Study
in GENERAL
Posted
Just returned from becoming a participant is a research study about the benefits of yoga for NSCLC cancer patients & survivors, stages 1 - 3. It's about a 3 month study that will analyze our blood oxygen, cortisol levels, stress, increased deep breathing, etc. A researcher at Wayne State University is conducting the study.
