Are you the main caregiver to your father?
Anybody else in the family to help?
For the hospice, getting the good one
is on top of the list, easy to introduce
your father to it, like saying
''They will help me take care of you''
Your father may do very well for a long
time without treatment.
Hard to say what is needed to be prepared
as your situation (for me) is not clear.
But the important part is to let your father
know he is love.

Hoping you are having
a nice week end.
Grateful for another

Leslie,
You live in the States and have the right
to change doctor, do it for yourself and
your family.
This may help you to make a choice.

and you could also write your experience
about Dr. Doom.

Judy,
Just saw your post,
you are strong to keep the panic
away, wonder why it is so hard
for doctors to communicate in
a good way with patients.
Will think of you on January 30th.

I would use the word reticent
or reluctant for myself.
I think we get to a point we
want to keep to ourselves some
part of the previous life we had
in case we could get it back or
that what happened was just a bad
dream.
Like living in two worlds the yesterday
and the today and we still have a choice
of the one we want to be living in,
delusion must be a part of grieving.

Saturday, the day
I was waiting for.
Grateful that I still
can face adversity with a
smile or a quiet chuckle
because nothing can hurt me
more than losing Mike.

Carrie,
Live one day at the time is all you can
or anybody do.
With lc you can't anticipate what tomorrow
will be, you just can hope it will be as good
or better than the day you are living.

end for all.
Enjoy as much as you can.

I believe in miracles:
I see them all around me
in the warmth of sunshine,
the beauty of flowers, the
laughter of children, the
compassion of friends,
the intimacy of family.

Have a good day.

Beautiful news to start a day.
Celebrate now.

Geri,
Good luck,
my friend had one done two years
ago I was with her, painful; yes
worth it; yes.
Goal of it is to cause irritation between
the two layers of the covering of the lung
so the bonding is good. Some rolling
around to spread the slurry talc.
Ibuprofen or anti-inflammatory medication
are a good help with the pain.

(((((((Randy))))))))
You also give a lot of support.
Weird but tonight was out (in the cold)
and was talking to the full mood like
I do every month and was thinking of the
times you go out in your yard and yell
at the sky........and saw your post right
after.
Jackie
-
Lenny,
You did right to celebrate
this good news.
Hope to see many post
from you.

Gratitude - January 29th 2008

Tuesday and very
bad weather here,
it is winter after all.
Grateful for the book my
friend sent me,
*The Garden of Prayer*
by Thomas Kinkade each
page is one of his painting
with a quote from great
thinkers of out time.
This could be for Nova
Thomas Kinkade's
message.
''When you incorporate prayer into
your daily routine, you will be
amazed at the joy. comfort,
and peace that it will bring to
your life''
--
Will write more of his thinking
about prayer in a few days.
-------------
So I tell you,
whatever you ask for in prayer,
believe that you have received it,
and it will be yours.
(Mark 11:24)
-----------
So for those having operation
or treatment today I will say a
prayer.
Have a good day.
