Good morning all,
Three days of a new snow storm
started during the night.....
Grateful I still can use
a shovel to make a path
to the car shelter...
Grateful that half the
winter is over....
That is really from the
bottom of the Gratitude barrel.

I believe in the sun even
when it is not shining.
I believe in love even when
not feeling it.
I believe in God even when
He is silent.
(Concentration camp prayer)

Have a good day.

Already lost my post,
good start for the day.
Grateful for the help I got
yesterday, help not wanted
or needed.

Don't worry if you start
losing your memory.
Just forget about it.

memory, few of their judgment.

Sharon,
I'll put my two cents where it is not needed.
Mike (my husband) could have been operated
in the States, where treatment are more advanced
than here in Quebec, Canada.
We had private insurance that paid for needed medical
expenses anywhere in the world, he refused.
Tried for him and for myself to make him change his mind,
impossible........stubborn Irish man.
so he had chemo and radiation never got sick
during the treatments but *no operation*
After I accepted his decision during and after
the treatments were finished,
we had the most enjoyable time of our life,
He was bedridden from October 7th am,
councious and happy and died while
sleeping on October 13th..........
His only regret, having to leave me, but
proud of the marvelous time he gave me.
He made the best decision possible for himself
and was happier with quality of time instead
of quantity of it.

Monday.....
first day of the week for
those that work, hope all
goes well for them.
first day of the week for
those in treatment, wish
and pray that they all do well.
Busy week for me, starting
a new project so, grateful
I had Sunday as a day to
rest and time to prepare
my strategy.

Twenty years from now you
will be more disappointed
by the things *you didn't do*
than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines.
Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in you sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover.

Grateful for another day
of quiet time alone.....
need it, never bore by
myself.

The years between fifty and
seventy are the hardest. You
are always asked to do things
and yet you are not decrepit
enough to turn them down.

Grateful to be decrepit
now I can say NO!!
Have a good day.

Glad for you that the teeth are fixed

soon.
Feeling good is always a very good
sign.

Lilly,
Glad you are home and now the
recovery will go better and faster,
you had a lot happen since January
14th but once more you are home.
Prayers for a good recovery.

Barb,
Blame it on the insurance obliging
you to switch scanner. Problably
used a prehistoric scanner to try
to save money and now the insurance
will have to pay for two scans instead
of only one on a modern machine.
Close and lock that basement door behind
the insurance representative and the slasher.
Hate to see you worry for three months,
you should get word from the surgeon and
pulmonary docs soon if they are worried.
Sending relaxing prayers your way.
Hugs

Boxers are furry clown,
had a few in the old days
and they could always make
us laugh just by being there.

Good morning all,
you may be sleeping
in after a week of work.
Grateful that today snow storm
will be a small one, nice that
white stuff we call snow but
it should be evenly spread
all over the planet to be
enjoyed by everybody.

I was born in the wrong generation.
When I was a young man, no one had
any respect for youth.
Now I am an old man and no one has
any respect for age.

Friday, last
day of the working
week for many.
Grateful for friends
they may be far or near,
I may have met them
or will never have that
chance, but knowing they
care really brightens my day.
Grateful that last night I
could read to my favorite dog
before I went to sleep under
watching eyes.

Good morning all,
Bad weather again here,
where are those sunny
winter days we used to get
between storms?...just gone,
what we need the most is
sunshine.

“After having dug to a depth of 10 metres last year, British scientists
found traces of copper wire dating back 100 years and came to the conclusion
that their ancestors already had a telephone network more than 100 years
ago.
Not to be outdone by the POMS, in the weeks that followed, Australian
scientists dug to a depth of 20 metres, and shortly after, headlines in the
Aussie newspapers read: "Australian archaeologists have found traces of 150
year old copper wire and have concluded that their ancestors already had an
advanced high-tech communications network 50 years earlier than the Brits.
One week later, Maori TV reported the following: "After digging as deep as
30 metres in his backyard in Te Kuiti, Hone Waiata, a King Country Kaumatua,
reported that he found absolutely nothing. Hone has therefore concluded that
300 years ago Maori had already gone wireless."
