Toyvol says, yeh that sure don't seem fair, why don't you ask him why that is. Ernie goes and asks that fore man why is it we is doin all the work and you is doin all the yellin and standin in the shade and prolly gettin paid more. The foreman says, it's cuz you guys are ignorant. Ernie says, whadya mean?He says, well you'all is stupid. Well Ernie rares back and swings and the foreman moves his hand and, smack, right into the tree. Ernie just walks away rubbin his hand. Toyvol says, well whadidee say? Ernie says, we is ignorant. 7. Hi Caren, the end stage is never an easy or a welcome place to be, I have a good friend who lost his mom a few years back and hea talked about having a talk with his mom telling her how his life was going well as were his brother and sister. Basically they were all giving her permission to go, she had done a great job for them and they loved her and appreciated everything she had done for them. He said that she was able to talk with the family and have serious conversations and also have light conversations about their lives and she passed away that same night. He said it was almost like she had been fighting and suffering and struggling until the family gave her permission to go join their father. He told me it was a wonderful experience, (if there can be such a thing in the end). Anyway I know there is never an easy way to have the hard talks, sometimes all we can do is be straightup and start. When my mom passed away she was being treated for copd and a not too serious heart condition. Less than 24 hrs before she passed they discovered pulmonary fibrosis and she went very quickly, it was a sort of blessing in disquise because there wasn't a long drawn out painful suffering process. I'm very sorry if I may seem morbid or too personal but there really isn't much we can do to prepare ourselves for these great losses and sometimes we just have to let go and let GOD. Your dad is really lucky to have you there, caring and loving him. Isn't that all any of us want and need anyway. Take care of yourself along the way and remember you have a large community of friends here for your support and strength and Love... Donny
  8. Can't go anywhere without my ole guitar.
  9. Just soooo many minorities slipping through the cracks in modern society. Pity.
  10. Way gorgeous day here today, about 80 degrees, no wind, no clouds. Sugarbear and I went for a long ride on a short road, about 90 miles of dirt roads in the Medicine Bow Natl Forest. we found a really nice campground for later in the year, still has alot of snow in it right now. It's about 8200 feet elevation, covered in pines and aspens and creeks and rocks. The little campground only has 5 camp units in it and is never very crowded. I can't wait for warmer days and better health to go and spend a weekend. Hey Judy one of the things I'm getting tired of hearing from folks is, "well you are sure looking good, your color is good and you look so healthy". Sometimes how I look has very little to do with how I feel, sometimes I wish I was in a wheelchair and dragging oxegen around 24/7 so I could look as sh1^*y as I feel. Ahhh, that's out, thanks for letting me revel in a good day and whine about it too. LOL Donny
  11. So Ernie and Toyvol are down the employment office and Ernie walks up to the desk and the lady asks, Can I help you?. Ernie say I need to get me a job, she asks, and what is it you do? Ernie says I'm a pilot. She says oh yes I'm sure we can help you, have a seat and we'll be with you shortly. Toyvol walks up to the desk and the lady asks, can I help you? Toyvol says, yeah I need to get me a job. She asks, so what is it that you do? Toyvol says, I'm a lumberjack. She says, I'm really sorry there is not much call for wood choppers these days. Toyvol heads for the door and Ernie gets up and starts to go with him. The lady says, Hey where are you going, we always need pilots? Ernie says, we is a team if Toyvol don't cut em down I ain't gonna pilot....

  16. I can drive to Colorado in about 2 hrs, and I stay away from it as much as possible, so I'd be heading back to Alaska and spend a couple weeks on the Kenai. That's a part of it I missed when I was ther and have always sorta regretted it.

  18. Hello Evalynn, sorry you have had to join this forum but very glad you are here. The main thing to remember for any of us is that everyone is an individual and statistics are just statistics. Wow you have been through alot in recent years, I can surely sympathize. I lost my dad, mom, 3 aunts, an uncle, my brother and his son in a period of a few years and it is overwhelming. All we can do is try to keep ourselves together and cry as much as we need to. Keep us posted and keep your head up, there are amazing things happening everyday and we don't want to miss out. Donny
  19. Ty I think is gone, tho he has made major progress since the start. Adam I think is the most talented, however being gay may cost him popularity votes. Danny may lose popularity votes due to his wife and kids. Kris is the least talented of the three but may have enough eligibility factor for fans to keep him till the end. Hard knowing. Donny
  20. I'm still trying to figger out what the second blue ball is??? Donny
