  2. Marie,

I had some problem with it. Once in a while I would have to take some compazene. Before every chemo treatment the staff gave me a small bag of some anti-nausea medicine. I know that the medication must have worn off in at least a day. Maybe being on top of it early is the trick.

    Good luck John.

  3. Ellen,

I had similar problems when I was going through chemo and radiation. I would be really weak for about two to three days a week. I had chemo once a week and radiation Monday through Friday. With each chemo I would get a little weaker each time. I always rebounded, but seemed to rebound as much each time.

Everyone reacts differently. I had a different chemo with my radiation, also I am a bit younger than your husband. Just these two things can make a big difference.

I am probably not much help here. Fatigue does become the new normal.

    Good luck John.

  4. Jon,

I am Ry's husband. The side effects are not to bad for most. Diarrhea, rash, and dry skin are basically it. These side effects vary quite a bit. Sometimes they are not bearable. When it does work though it works very well. I wish I could tell you want the results would be for your mother, but all the chemos including this drug treat everyone differently.

There are lots of good people here who have varied responses.

    Best of luck John.

It was and still is a great birthday. I got great birthday presents. We just got back from having a birthday dinner with friends.

Do not be bothered with the belated birthday. I like birthdays that last as much as a week.

  7. I have also heard that men think about sex 8-10 times a minute. So in that one day, I could think about sex over 14,000 times. Woo Hoo.

Ginny's reason and a couple more more. Being a b----, once a month, and child birth, never not even on a good day. This is why I love women, and want to be want I am.

  8. Minne was put in over my left lung. It rested right where my seat belt goes, if I am driving. It was annoying for a while but eventually went away. Boy, do not forget the cream at least for the frist several infusions. You will never feel a thing. I have had mine 3.5 years.
