TAnn
Haven't heard from you since you started chemo. Hoping all is going well and the side effects aren't too bad. TAnn
kimblanchard
Doing Pretty good. I had two bad days following the first treatment. The Premeds are loaded with Steroids and I always hit a big wall when they wear off. This time they are trying to wean my slowly...so we'll see. Other than the Steroid withdrawal it has been quite easy. My counts rebounded nicely after the first round and my cough seems better (less). Overall, I score the Chemo at a 9.25. luv jim
Nushka
Glad to hear you are doing so well Jim. I hope it continues. You are one of the most optomistic people I have ever met and I am proud to call you friend. Take care of that shadow...he is a little doll. ginnyde
Jim, Glad to hear you are tolerating the new chemo and hope that the steroid weaning (new term) takes care of that problem. I reread your bio and see that you have not had radiation. Is that right? How come?

kimblanchard
You're right Ginny, Radiation has not been considered to this point. I am under the care of one ONC and a team of other cancer specialist at the Medical University of SC. So far I am pretty satisfied with their decisions and caring attitudes. luv jim
kimblanchard
More to add, a prime concern in our treatment approach was "Quality of Life" I am well past my first due date and still doing pretty well. I really feel good and enjoy each sunrise. I don't think I would have done as well with Painful agressive treatments....We all must make our path. luv jim
