Nancy B
Hello Everyone, Thanks so much for all the sharing and caring. I am a 3 1/2 year survivor and am very optimistic but also still have the fear of reoccurrence. I am involved with The Wellness Community (a support organization for cancer patients and caregivers). I recently completed a Half Marathon in Vancouver to raise money for them and plan on doing it again next year. I was diagnosed with nsclc adenocarcinoma - stage 1B (tumor 6 cm) in February 2000. I had an upper left lobectomy but fortunately no chemo or radiation. I am 56 years old and have a 21 year old son. I appreciate everything about this site - there is so much educating to be done about lung cancer. Thanks for being there.

Anniemac
Nancy-so nice to hear from new survivors. It's encouraging to the rest of us who are still in the fighting process. This is just the best site for upbeat people and great information. Annie
norme
NANCY, SO NICE OF YOU TO COME ON BOARD. WORRY CAN'T HELP ANYTHING. YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OF YOUR BODY SO TRY AND JUST GO WITH WHAT YOU CAN CONTROL AND LEAVE THE REST TO THE ALMIGHTY. AM VERY HAPPY FOR YOU AND FEEL YOU ARE A TRUE SURVIVOR....
