Person's Name [Name], died peacefully on August 24, 2005 at the age of 77 of heart disease which resulted from her smoking cigarettes from 1947- 1981. She worked as a nurse for over three decades at Eitel Hospital and Abbott-Northwestern Hospital. She ended her nursing career as the head nurse in the Well- Baby Nursery at Abbott- Northwestern, where she cared for thousands of babies and families and touched many lives with her teaching. It was worded something like...died 8/1/05, cured of alsoholism 8/1/05. Guess it is better to do that pre-planning and write your own obit. Anyone knowing that particular person would know that they suffered from alcoholism and that it was cured when they died - same can be said for any human affliction, death cures it all. Since she had quit so many years ago, I don't think anyone in her family would harbor resentment or anger toward her for smoking. Hope not, anyway!
