joanie55
I went to a seminar on Cyberknife and listened to a doctor speak. How do I check him out? Is there a specific web-site I can go to? Thanks guys. Joan P.S. If anyone from the New York area knows of a great Cyberknife doctor, I'm open to suggestions.
Ann
Have you tried "googling" him?
joanie55
I can do that, but I'm concerned about anything I shouldn't know about him. I've heard that there is someplace to check that out like the Better Business Bureau for Doctors.
tatlyn
Hi Joan, I know that in Canada we can search for Doctor info at the web site "college of physicians and surgeons" so I searched to see if there was something similar in the States and I found this: http://www.facs.org/table/table.html select *public information*, insert the Doctor's name and you will get (I hope) all the info they have on him. Good Luck Lynda
joanie55
Lynda, Thanks so much. That's exactly what I was looking for. Joan

carolhg
You can also check the American Medical Association for your state (AMA). There should be a place on the website to enter the name of the doctor that you have questions about. It will give you his/her name, type of license, where he went to school, specialties, any complaints or offenses against him/her.
