Ann
Got this emailed to me. Not even sure myself as to what all the answers are. I'm sure that together we can get every one. You have to tell me the name of the person who is being referred to....and bonus points if you can tell me the name of the song! No cheating by googling the lyrics. See how many you really know. 1-he sells cartoon balloons in town 2-he works at the grocery store, saving his pennies for someday 3-she puts on the red light and sells her body to the night 4-she is a seamstress for the band 5-he has a barrow in the market place 6- he won’t be down on wall street in the morning 7-he works at Mister Cacciatores down on Sullivan Street across from the medical center 8-he's a stock car boy, the best driver in the land 9-he was asking only workman’s wages, he came lookin’ for a job, but he got no offers just a comeon from the whores on 7th avenue 10-he worked with minstrel shows travelling throughout the south 11-he left his home with a dollar in his pocket and a head full of dreams 12-he's in the navy and probably will be for life 13-he takes the morning train, he works from nine till five 14-she was quizzical, studied metaphysical science in the home 15-he wears the crown, he's the king around town 16-she was filling in a ticket in her little white book, in a cap she looked much older 17-he is writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear 18-he paints his palette blue and gray 19-he's gonna rate your record high 20-she plays the piano every Friday at the Hollywood 21-he came to town spreading wisdom and cash around, fed the starving and housed the poor 22-he had a straight job even though he could have smashed through any bank in the United States 23-he's a real estate novelist who never had time for a wife 24-she said, God made her a sinner just to keep fat men thinner 25-he was a gardener that cared a lot who weeded out the tears and grew a good crop --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
