Geri Posted June 9, 2006 Share Posted June 9, 2006 We've got it nailed!!! Rich heard today that we have confirmation of our site for the event. The permit should be issued in August but we can now go ahead and get things really moving. So, reserve the date...... November 11th, Castle Island, Boston, MA. Any and all participants and volunteers are welcome, 10% of the proceeds will be coming to LCSC. We'll let you know all the details later. Today is a good day, the suspense is over and now the work begins for the rest of the comittee. Rich and Ry have been working at this for months but now the rest of us get to do our bit. We need sponsors, and individuals to get the word out to attract walkers. I am the goodie bag queen (no commentary ) so I am looking for things to go in the gift bags walkers get at the end of the walk. Let us know if you can help in any way.
