Speaking of those pesky moles above...

Does anyone have any good ideas for getting rid of them? My Tanner Dog actually upset one over the weekend, got it above ground and Dick caught it. Ugh!

My lawn is full of these tunnels. I've tried traps, pellets....need your help here!!!

Thanks Ann, I love these silly facts.

Moles, best solution to get rid of them is to move.

I was weeding one day and a mole or vole not sure which was tunneling right in front of me. Being the little woman that I am, I screamed. My knight in shining armor (Earl) came over and raked the poor animal to death.

And that's my mole story.

Ginny....I love your mole story. How very sweet of Earl to save you!!! Last year, I had these little monsters in the front yard. I bought these toxic little peanut shaped thingies and it seemed to get rid of them. But...now it seems that all they did was hibernate during the winter and then move to my back yard. I think I'll get out a shotgun and wait behind a bush...lol!

Ann,

I had this problem at the last house I lived in. My Grandpa suggested I get those sunflower twirly things, place them in my yard and soon they would become my neighbors problem! Actually you may find your neighbors already have those flower things, take a look :).

It has something to do with the ground vibration the sunflowers generate. Good luck!

I've heard that rolling a stick of Doublemint gum up like a cinnamon roll and placing it in their holes is a good way to kill 'em. If you want to use "poison", buy some grub killer. That's what they eat. Ask the Lowe's guy about it - one that looks like he knows what he's talking about, that is!
