rvillella
Well, saw the onc yesterday. Went about like I expected. Wanted all the information about me. Since it is a new Onc they didn't have everything so I have to fill in the blanks. They'll get my records and scans and then they'll know what they are dealing with. Even with a lung gone they are saying that I am stage 1 or maybe 2. I always thought if it was the same cancer and came back you were a 3 or 4. Even if it didn't spread outside the lung. They will meet with the tumor board today and discuss so I should hear something tomorrow. They are still talking wedge resection and radiation but with only one lung I think they are just talking. The good thing is that it is right across the street from Duke Medical Center so if there are any trials going on over there I can be put in them if needed. Connie B
You know in my opinion, that Staging process garbage is overrated. It is SOOOO CONFUSING at times! I've had doctor's say it's comfusing! Best wishes to you, and your in my thoughts and prayers.
