Andrea Posted April 17, 2007 Share Posted April 17, 2007 When my dad had his scans at the imaging he came across a lovely girl in her 20s with her husband and mother. The young girl has Stage 4 stomach cancer and just switched to their oncologist. My dad called my mom back to speak with her about chemo, the oncologist office, etc. My parents said she was soooo nice and wonderful and their hearts just broke for them. My dad grilled the entire staff about her status at his visit on Friday. While they only spoke to her for 40 minutes, she and her family made such an impact on my parents and will never be far from our thoughts. We all think about them every day. If you have spare prayers, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. As the oncologist said, cancer only seems to happen to the nice ones.
