Grateful that I am able to offer

my day and prayers for Connie.

Grateful that my mom is feeling good and her last xray showed NED . She is enjoying this day , her 79th birthday.

Grateful to be a part of such a wonderful and supportive group through good times as well as the rough times.

Grateful that we can send all those prayers to our Connie B. God be with you , Connie.

Grateful for LOTS today........

~ that Connie can have this surgery to make her

feel better

~ that Katie is such an advocate and friend to all

of us that she is there for our Connie

~ that friends from afar care enough to send very

special holiday greetings to Teddy

~ that friends are joining our family to share

our holiday dinner and festivities

~ that this makes the 3rd holiday season since the

local docs told me that one would be my last

~ for all the heroes of this site that continue to

humble me each day with their strength

I should re read David Steindl-Rost's "Gratefullness, the Heart of Prayer". I read it once many years ago and I think I need a brushup.

Today I am grateful for the wonderful woman that cleans my house. When I went home for lunch, she had made each child a wonderful scrapbook of pictures of them with their dad. When I go home tonight the house will be amazing (for about 2 seconds until the kids get home).

I am also sending positive thoughts to Connie...you can do this Connie.
