fillise Posted January 20, 2010 Share Posted January 20, 2010 I'm sorry to report that Lisa passed away on Tuesday, January 18. I've posted her obituary on the obituary board. Many of us kept with with Lisa through her blog on the Lung Cancer Alliance website. She was also a poster here and was featured in the NY Times website's "Voices of Lung Cancer" interactive feature. Lisa did a lot to spread the word that LC is not just a smoker's disease. If you followed her blog, you know she fought this disease with grace and courage. I know she is at peace and out of pain. I did follow her blog and was concerned when it was posted in December that she had been admitted to the hospital. In reading her postings I was awestruck by the woman - absolutely amazing lady. I am so sorry for her family. Another beautiful soul lost to this terrible disease. My most sincere condolences to those who loved her.
