barbvh Posted June 18, 2010 Share Posted June 18, 2010 Hi Everyone, Exciting week for my family & many prayers have been answered!! My son, Todd, received great MRI results earlier this week. 4 1/2 years since his diagnosis, surgery, radiation and a year of chemo and he has been released from care at Henry Ford's Brain Tumor Center. AMAZNG!!! Yesterday I got my CT scan results. Stable! No lung cancer and the darn inflammation (sarcoid) I have had for a few years now is finally now under control.... 3 years cancer free & no more prednisone. And very exciting is that I have graduated to scans every 6 months instead of 3. YEAH!! I am having some nasty prednisone withdrawal symptoms, but my labs are OK so my choices were to go back on the stuff so they go away which would make me feel better or to deal with them.
