Morning All! I'm late coming in but it looks like everyone else is too. Can't remember anything from yesterday lol. I needed a good night's sleep and a good day today but we don't always get what we want do we. Had crazy dreams that I was at this huge house owned by my PCP. There were lots of people there including his son. His son was going more than a little crazy and was going to shoot his father and everyone in the house and then himself. I got warning of it and was trying to warn others. Found myself with an old childhood friend I'm not even friends with anymore. She had taken me to a hidden room in the basement of the house where we hoped to be safe. How's that for a doosey! I'm usually quite good at dreams but this one has me totally baffled. Anyone want to give it a try.

Loads of post cleaning lady wash and a little office work. Hoping for an afternoon nap. It was four-something when I first looked at the clock this morning.

It was 64 degrees as I rode to work this morning. Forecast high is 79, with some storms in the area.

Dangit, Annette, sorry to hear about your nephew. All of our failed attempts to help family members serves to remind us that you can't help anyone who won't help themselves. We always keep trying, hoping that the time has finally arrived when they're ready to help themselves, but there's just no way of knowing when that day will happen. Hopefully, they'll come up with an in-facility setup that will be able to help him.

KW Judy, I was actually composing a post to start today's Air, but when I opened a second tab to re-read everything from yesterday, there was your new post.

Eric, stop playing with the bots. Time for me to get back to work. Have a great day, all!

Morning All - I'm a little behind today myself - can't seem to wake up this morning - I usually can do two or three things at a time at work - today all focus is on remaining awake. I think that Judy (KW) and I are on the same page - weird dreams and waking up in a funk. I even had to turn on my little heater - I was feeling dizzy with a twirling stomach and now I'm toasty warm and feeling a little better. I'd wager it's all stress and although our stress is coming from different angles - Judy you are probably stressed with everything you have to do to get you and Stan off to have a wonderful vacation - stress is stress!

While I think that my nephew signing himself in for treatment is a wonderful thing - I believe it will be not so good for me. My mom called me and said she could not find the cat food. (Like I am supposed to pull a Samantha, twitch my nose and come find it for her). I know for a fact that I put it in the container on the microwave - so I am guessing the she has fed the cats all of the food over the last couple of days - One of them weighs about a million pounds (mostly fur) and the other weighs in at about a ton. (Translated that means they both weigh about 20 pounds.) My cat is slim and trim. (He is not at all OCD about his toys either - but he keeps his toys in his food bowl - if you move them by morning they are back in the bowl. They say that pets take on their owners personalities - I am a neat person and for the most part everything has a place and stuff should be in its place - so the poor cat got my OCD and Keiths OCD (cause he is a neat freak too) - poor Kashew (his name).

I have rambled on - but I suppose I have to return to work at some point. Don't you wish you could take a nap at work - I could certainly use one.

Look forward to everyone's post later - and that reminds me Eric - you are sneaking in around midnight your time - which is much earlier here and counting it as today and "tomorrows" post - not fair, I say - we will need another funny story I think - everyone agree.

Annette, is Mom a little manipulative. Like instead of saying, please get me more cat food, she claims she can't find it? Sounds like you will have your hands full. Hope she doesn't start asking for things just because she wants the company. That's another common trick. Honey, tomorrow is Friday and I hope you get a decent weekend. You deserve it. Any friends of hers or yours that could take Mom off your hands for a day or two?

Just when I thought I was having a decent day, there's a knock on the door and it's a flippin' Kirby guy! Boy, aren't they an insistent bunch? Does it LOOK like I can afford $2300 for a damn vacuum for my laminate floors? Seriously?

They're like the guys at a bar at last call, desperate and not willing to take no for an answer! Sheesh!

Found a part for the truck at a local salvage yard, just need to get there and pick it up. Make the man happy and life is so much smoother... After running errands, it's back to the grinder and making more deer burger.

I could use some chocolate...glad there's so many of you hardcore healthy folks to exercise the guilt away!

A Kirby...if I had a spare $2300, I'd be looking at slightly-used hot tubs! As if!

Becky - If you had the time you should have let them in to vacuum your floors - I can't remember the last time I had fun with a door to door salesman - but I can jack a phone salesman up. I kinda miss the calls since the "Do Not Call" list came out. I am not much of a charity supporter unless I know the charity and I have some reluctance as far as the American Cancer Society - (believe it or not - sometimes they just flat are not on our side). My daughter answered the phone one day - and after talking to them for several minutes she asked them if they were calling to sell her cancer and that she really thought that was mean because she already had leprosy. The poor lady stuttered her way through an apology then my daughter told her she probably didn't want to talk to me either. -

One of my favorites was at work when they were trying to sell us the big bottled water set up - I told them that it would do us no good because we were a Russian company and only drank vodka.

I just spoke to my mom who is busy facebooking it and she wants me to pick up cat food and bread for her on the way home. Sigh - I was looking forward to going home and taking a nap not tromping through Food Lion. I sure am looking forward to opening that suitcase of Judy's once she gets me and Eric on board the cruise ship - I'll be at the pool or casino!

Judy, no, I didn't need to fix anything. I was just in the middle of composing my Thursday's Air post when yours got posted. So I just went back and copied what I had written in mine, and pasted it as a reply to your post, instead.

The only gremlin I've seen today is the quit-smoking spam bot in the My Story forum. A moderator needs to delete that.

Yeah, it's tough when the spam touches close to what we're about here. But all those advertising links was the clue that it wasn't real. Those spammers keep getting slicker.

Becky, my daughter gave me two little bottles of Bailey's, the size like you get on airplanes. I don't mind sharing but do you think you and Eric can make one go between you? That's just until I get you onboard. Oh would that not be fun, all of us on a cruise. Maybe we can get Oprah to do one for us.

Bud, I did misunderstand didn't I. And I missed the spammer altogether. Glad Annette was on it. I hate those guys. I thought the one selling shoes would never quit. Moderators can only delete on the forums they moderate right? If not I've been pming Katie to do it for nothing.

Annette, I told you your Mom needed cat food lol. I know it's not funny but I just knew. No fun making an unscheduled stop after work.

Hey, Judy, I'd ride along on your cruise, but it's Annette who is begging to go. Besides, Ann wants me to find that dang bus. I wish I had upgraded with a GPS to find it if stolen, just never though someone would want to steal that ol' eyesore!

I dunno about sharing a bitty bottle of booze with Eric, either. In fact, not knowing how long I'm going to be stuck in the suitcase, I'll skip ANY liquid, thankyouverymuch.

I was in no way letting two men I don't know in my house when it's just me and a sleeping teen. That's just crazy....I know they're up to no good, men don't know how to run vacuums, it's like asking a kid if they want some candy, please step closer to the van... Just didn't get a good vibe, and his box didn't seem heavy enough to contain a vacuum, just hoses. Just sayin'.... Two guys, driving a minivan and carrying a supposed vacuum. Sounding more and more like Ted Bundy working with an apprentice...

Ah you guys! What a group we are!

Today was my day at Gilda's Club. Seems I turned the corner on this cold, but after 1000 phone calls the voice disappeared again! As you know from my lengthy posts here, I'm a talker. Hate it when I can't talk!!!!

Hubs is getting lots of job opps right now. That is a good thing. But he's owned his own business for the last 15 years, and he does not know if he is ready to be an employee again. I'm not pressuring him one way or another. I just asked him to pray and ask God to help him decide where he needs to be. But very thankful that he is getting all these offers. He's a bright man and very good at what he does, so I have no doubt he will land on his feet.

So, I'm seeing thoughts of resurrecting the bus. Drinking in a suitcase on the way to Judy's cruise. Unwillingness to share with Eric. Fear that drinking in a suitcase is even a good idea.

Crazy men trying to get into Becky's house to sell vacuum hoses, and maybe to really kill the family (brings to mind Criminal Minds which I am addicted to). Spammers trying to cause trouble on our site. BTW, you need to be a moderator of that forum to delete the spam.

Mom's needing cat food. Or Mom needing the attention of her daughter. Annette advising Becky to let the crazy men in to vacuum her floors...back to Mom facebooking her needs.....guys at the bar not taking no at last call....weird dreams....fat cats....Eric playing with bots......and so much more!

My goodness what a lot we are! I love each and every one of you.

I slept like crap last night. Lots of business issues buzzing in my head. But we're okay. We just need to work through this stuff.

Tomorrow I have 3 meetings, in which one that starts early so I may not make it in again until late. Can't wait to see what you all are up to!
