Guest KerryToo Posted April 26, 2003 Share Posted April 26, 2003 My Mom just received her 2nd “no signs of cancer” assessment after undergoing radiation and chemo. She was diagnosed with NSCLC IIIB last April 2002, and has been cancer-free for 6 months now. She received an invitation to attend the Cancer Survivors celebration at City of Hope – and she’s absolutely thrilled to attend. The funny thing is, she said that until she saw “Cancer Survivor” on the invitation, she didn’t really believe that it was true – and now she does. Just thought that this realization of SUCCESS!!! was a great “Good News” topic! Take care to all those fighting and those holding their hands through the fight.
