Guest carmen Posted February 20, 2004 Share Posted February 20, 2004 I just want to share this, because for me was so great to finish this radiation.I did not like at all, I found it worse than chemo.Thank God today was muy last treatmente of 10; but the best thing is that the pain on my shoulders is almost gone, so is in in my leg. The radiologist and oncologyst decided to let me alone for 2 weeks; wich is great, this way I have some time to recovery before they start with chemo. On top of everything, I had a very bad reaction to Percocet, it was worse than anything else. They switch to the patch, and I feel a lot better. I had to do 36 sessions of radiation when I did mine. 10 would have been a cake walk for me! I know how you feel and I am very happy for you. I will continue to keep you in my prayers that all goes well for you and your chemo. Glad to hear the pain is getting better. Sounds like your getting on the + side of things.
