May2
I got my scans after having 3 Keytruda infusions. Scans came back with mixed results. Some lymphs nodes shrunk, but new ones appeared in new places. Tumer mass shrunk slightly. The plan was to add chemo to Keytruda. However I found a doctor in the area who has the LOXO ( which is the targeted treatment for the RET mutation). I will be doing the trial. 👍 I've been off of Keytruda for 4 weeks now. My keytruda side effects (tiredness, shortness of breath, and joints pain) have subsided finally. Wow! Nice to feel normal for a minute. jack14
Robert A.
Glad you are feeling better. My wife was getting treatment with Keytruda and the 1st scan showed tumor shrinkage, got the results from her 2nd scan yesterday an the tumor grew so she will be put on Docetaxel. May2
I am glad to hear there are more treatment options. Sorry I am not familiar with the name. Is that targetted treatment or chemo? What type of mutation does she have?
