LexieCat Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2021/03/09/lung-cancer-screening/ Screenings expanded to current/former smokers over 50 years of age (previously 55) with 20+ "pack years" (20 years smoking a pack a day; 10 years smoking 2 packs/day (previously 30 "pack years" required). Millions more will be eligible and insurance (including Medicare) will pay.
