Actually went out and hit golf balls today. I hit a bucket and actually hit good shots at the end. The fact that I can physically hit the ball again is...nothing short of fantastic! I really was concerned I wouldn't be able to.

Small, but important, step.

Good for you! I gotta confess, I never quite got the appeal of golf. My dad was an avid golfer, though, up until vertigo made it too tough for him to play.

Dang. My youngest son just told us he is moving out in July. My oldest told us a couple days ago he is moving out in May.

What in the heck am I going to do in this huge house without my boys?

I'm a proud Dad. They both hung around this past year because of my issues. Great kids.

Trust me, I get it. I felt that way when my daughter went back home to Colorado in December, after staying here with me for a few months. 

It's an adjustment for sure--will they both be close enough to visit? 

Remember, we didn't raise them to live with Mom/Dad the rest of their lives.  Li'l birds gotta fly.

Yes, both of them will be reasonably close. Same state, but the states out west are pretty big! One will be about a 5 hour drive. The other about an hour.
